Pets with broken wings are our special needs animals. Special needs pets may have different forms of disabilities, which require for that special someone who's willing to invest a little more energy, love and time.
Some of our special needs animals are simply old or sick and some have had to suffer through experiences that make it a little harder for them to be adopted.
Most of them suffer from one or more of the below:
- a physical disability or a chronic terminal disease
- be recovering from a serious injury
- be elderly and/or requires hospice care at home
- have emotional and/or behavioral problems
Here are a few of our special needs cats and dogs.

This beautiful little boy came from a small town up north, he was an outdoor kitty. Sebastian's fur was so matted he was actually in pain from the mats, you could not pet him without him screaming in pain. As you can see now he is mat free and a very happy boy. Sebastian did test positive for feline aids. He is the sweetest cat and is fine with other cats and dogs. He is very laid back. He needs to find a family that has another FIV cat or be the only cat. Are you that family?
Snowball is a very loving, playful little boy. His owners lost their home and were unable to take care of him anymore.
Snowball is a 9 year old Bichon Frise, he only has one eye, but is a healthy and happy dog. Snowball is looking for a loving family that will take him home!
Boa, is a young orange tabby. He is a lover and loves to play but most of all as you can tell loves to sleep. He had a rough life as an out door stray kitty and has been in many fights. Because of this he has contracted the Feline Aids Virus and must go to a home without cats or another feline aides positive kitty home. He gets along great with his other feline aids foster buddies.
